Hi I'm Ross

Me and my family are Mormon

About Me

I am a graduate student in agriculture. I have been married for almost three years and have three beautiful children. I enjoy camping, hiking, gardening, and being outdoors. I also love to read and spend time with my family. I love my wife Sara deeply, and am grateful for the direction that Jesus Christ's teachings give us in our marriage.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a Mormon home, but not until I was 23 did I come to know the power of Jesus Christ and the restored truth of the Mormon church. When I become converted to Christ, my whole life changed for the better. I have never looked back, and never have regreted my decision to follow my Savior. As He said, "For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it." I know the Savior lives because I feel his love in my life almost every day. The happiness I feel from following Him is wonderful.

How I live my faith

Living the Gospel of Jesus Christ brings blessings that one cannot measure. It is a work in progress as I try and do what the Savior would have me do every day. In the process my weaknesses become more aparent, but my joy becomes deeper the more I try to improve and become like Jesus. The inspired words of Christ and prophets give me strenth to become more than what I am and makes my home a beautiful place where love abounds, and peace is felt daily.

What do Mormons believe happens to us after we die? What do Mormons believe about life after death?

In line with the teachings of the Savior, we beleive that we, through the power of Christ's sacrifice, will live again. If we will live His inspired teachings we can live eternally in his presence with our families. Teachings inspired from God can lead us to happiness in this life and eternal happiness in the presence of Jesus Christ and God our Eternal Father. Show more Show less
