Hi I'm Christopher Rowan

I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

About Me

I became a member in March of 2010. I have always believed in our Savior, but was unsure of the path I should follow. I heard the story of a fourteen year old boy who had the same struggle I faced. He was unsure which church he should attend. This was the same situation I found myself in. After prayer, I found the answers I searched for.

Why I am a Mormon

The times are changing. Mainstream society has forgotten about family values. I too had forgotton about family values. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints teaches me, my wife and children the value of a strong family. These are the relationships our Father in Heaven has laid out for us. He sent his son to teach us about his plan. Jesus showed us how to return to our Father in Heaven. Our families can be together forever though Heavenly Father's plan and our Savior Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I try to live my life as Jesus taught us all we should do. After I became a member of the church, my wife and I were called to be primary teachers. At first I was unsure this was something I wanted to do. Shortly after, I was certain what Heavenly Father's plan was for us. I have learned so much by teaching others.

Who founded Mormonism and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints?

Christopher Rowan
Jesus Christ is the true founder of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. After Jesus and his apostles were killed, Jesus's teachings were passed on. As they were passed on, his teachings were sometimes being misinterpreted. This led to much confusion. many creeds and churches were established based on their interpretations. At fourteen years old, Joseph Smith Jr. was very confused about which church he should choose. After reading a verse in the book of James in the Bible, he sought his answer through prayer. Though his prayer, he recieved an answer, though a vision, that would later lead the start of the restoration of the true gospel of Jesus Christ. Show more Show less
