Hi I'm Charlie

I was born and raised in Utah, I love sports the outdoors and most importantly my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father of two girls, a youth counselor for the past 7 years, and I am just finishing my masters degree in counseling. I have been married for 8 years and am still learning the ins and outs of being married, but love knowing I get to experience the ups and downs of life not alone. I have not always been an active member of the church. After my parents divorced when I was thirteen I stopped going to church. Miraculously I chose to serve a two year mission at the age of eighteen and started going back to church by myself in order to prepare so I could serve the Lord. I Loved my two year mission in Canada and would not change those two years for anything. Those two years change my life forever! I am who I am because I chose to serve a mission and get back to church.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I spent four years as a teenager being in active in the church. I feel I know what it's like not to have faith in Jesus Christ, balance, and enough understanding of what God has in store for me after this life. This has come through actions towards the covenants I have made with my Heavenly father. I am a Mormon because, God has, does, and will answer my prayers!

How I live my faith

My family and I attend church every week, and we find church to be the highlight of our lives. By being able to remember Sunday is the Lord's day, we strive to always remember Him and all He has done for us. At church we have the opportunity to serve others by having callings (areas of service) in the church. I serve as one of the Bishop's counselors in our ward, it gives me great joy having the opportunity to help others come closer the Savior. My wife serves with the woman in our ward. She coordinates to make sure all the sisters have been nurtured by visits from other woman in the ward to make sure there needs are met. We love being able to follow the example of the Savior in serving others.
