Hi I'm Katrina Lynn

I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

About Me

I was a full-time missionary in the Utah Ogden mission, many years ago. Currently, I am a single mother of 5 boys, and the youngest boy has Spina Bifida. I'm a part-time college student (mostly online courses), and a stay at home mother.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because I know this is Jesus Christ's church that was restored to the earth in these Latter-Days through the Prophet Joseph Smith. Being a member of Jesus Christ's church enables me to have the blessings, ordinances, knowledge, direction, and peace I need to stay on the right path, that will allow me to return to my Heavenly Father and Savior one day.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church every Sunday with my 5 children. During the week, we have our Monday family nights, we read scriptures together (most nights of the week), pray together, and try to serve our neighbors. I have my daily personal prayer and scripture study that helps sustain me through the unique challenges of single parenthood. I also visit the temple regularly which offers opportunities for me to serve, and to find refuge from the trials of life.

What blessings can we receive through the gift of the Holy Ghost?

Katrina Lynn
After individuals are baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints they receive the Gift of the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost is a personage of Spirit, and is a member of the Godhead, and can be our constant companion if we remain worthy. The Godhead includes 3 separate beings: Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost. Having the Gift of the Holy Ghost brings about many blessings, such as, comfort, love, direction for our lives, confirmation of choices we make, peace, joy, warnings of danger, and knowledge of the truth.
