Hi I'm Noelani

I'm a Artistic Hawaiian-grown Haole Migrained Mormon Mom of a 7, 5, 1 year old, & a baby up in Heaven.

About Me

I am a stay at home mom of 3 beautiful children, and one Angel back in Heaven who was just born June 2011 and passed a week later... It was one of the most blessed weeks of my life! I learned so much in that one week being around my baby in the NICU, he taught me so much about life, service, sacrifice, and what this life is all about, Family! I've been married 9 yrs now to my husand, who gave me my first kiss, whom i met finishing college. I graduated in 2-D Art in 2005 from BYUH. I've had migraines sometimes daily since childhood, but i don't let it stop me from enjoying my life and family! Life is good I can't complain, I've been so blessed!  I choose to enjoy everyday! I feel so blessed to be where I am. Life is an amazing adventure of ups and downs, that teach me to constantly look towards Our God for guidance, comfort and help. I am so grateful my family is sealed for all time and eternity, that's what has helped comfort me and deal with my son's recent death, something I never thought I would have to deal with at this stage of life. What a comfort to know he will always be mine, part of our family, and one day be back with us for eternity. To know that he is pure, and accomplished all he had to do on this earth; which was receiving a physical body, and now gets to be at peace back with our Heavenly Father, free of Life's struggles and tests. I feel so honored to be a mother! I hope one day I can become the Mother God intends me to be.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church. I come from a long line of Mormon's, many of which crossed the plains with the original pioneers. I have chosen to continue in the teachings of Jesus Christ in my home. There is no other church out there that is as organized and inspiring in its programs from childhood to adulthood out there. It holds such high values. It answers all may questions. Who I am, why I'm here, and where am i going. I am a daughter of God, I want to live my life in such a way as to return to my Heavenly Father one day and say "I did it, I passed the test." It is such a comfort to my life and to my children's life to know what the plan is. I have lived my life in such a way that I can be happy with what i am and what i have accomplished. There is so much more for me to do, and i intend to do it. I am not perfect, but i still have the chance to be. I know this church is the only fully true church here on the the Earth today. That we have a wonderful prophet who guides us through inspiration on how to be. I know that our Savior Jesus Christ died for each of us to give us the opportunity to choose to return to Our Father in Heaven God one day. I Know Jesus Christ lived! And that he now lives again! That He arose that 3rd day through the power of God. I know this Earth has a plan, and is not just a random happening, that we came here to prove ourselves worthy for the next stage in our Heavenly development.

How I live my faith

I currently am the Ward Chorister every Sunday during Sacrament Meeting, I am by no means a professional, but I am learning to do it better each week. My only experience is singing in mixed choirs... But I know by my willingness I will be blessed, which is what I hold onto, since I have 3 hyperactive children watching my every move!

Why is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints called Mormons or Mormonism?

Because we believe the Book of Mormon to be another holy book that accompanies the Bible in righteous teachings. And because we are the only other church with that additional Book and it being titled the Book of Mormon, people have refereed to us as Mormons. Because of our belief in that book. And lets face it, it is much more shorter name than saying "Hi, I belong to the church if Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints. Hi, I'm a Mormon." See what i mean! "I'm a Mormon and I believe in the Book of Mormon and in the Holy Bible Because they both teach of Jesus Christ!" Show more Show less
