Hi I'm Rogelio

I'm a student. I love soccer. I love my wife and everything she cooks. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Mexico City. It has been 2 years since I moved out to United States to attend a University here . I served an LDS mission in the Charlotte, North Carolina Mission. I got married almost a year ago to my beautiful wife. My parents are converts to the Church and I had the blessing to be raised in the Church. I love to play soccer, I love airplanes and aviation in general. I love everyghing my wife cooks :) and love spending time with her. We both go to school so it is hard to see each other that much during the week, but I love being with her in the little time we have together. Something excited coming up is that my wife and I will be flying to Mexico to be at my brother's mission homecoming. He is currently serving in the Monterrey west, Monterrey, Mexico Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know this is what my Heavenly Father wants for me. Being a Mormon helps me understand who I really am and the potential I have as a son of God. It gives me hope to know that I will be with my Family for all eternity no matther how hard this life can get. It gives me a better perspective at everything, I can see the good in all things. I just love being a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live it everyday. I grew up in Mexico City, I grew up in a place where most of the people I knew were from other Faiths. The great thing about being a Mormon is that you can be friends with anyone and be tolerant about other beliefs. I currently have lots of friends from other religions and I respect theirs as they respect mine. I am not afraid to let them know what I believe in. I play soccer with them, watch movies with them, go to parties with them and have lots of fun with them, and they know my standards of living. I currently serve as an LDS congregation unit. I make sure that membership records and financial records are sacred and properly taken care of. I love this service opportunity because it helps me get to know most of the members in our congregation and it allows me to serve them. I volunteer at a local boys and girls club as a soccer coach for this organization's league. I love spending time with children from 7-11 years old. I learn something new from them every single day.
