Hi I'm Adam

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in Ohio and served a mission in Germany.

About Me

I'm married to my beautiful wife of three years now and am a full time firefighter/paramedic & nurse.

Why I am a Mormon

A religion more similar to the one that Jesus taught during his life on earth can not be found elsewhere. This is His Church, the feeling of peace that I get just from hearing the hymns in the worship services and when the Prophet speaks reaffirm to me of this fact. As an individual I am in no way perfect, and stumble on the path to return to the presence of our Father in Heaven - but that is my goal: to be with my wife and family forever in the presence of God.

How I live my faith

I enjoy helping people and interacting with them, in part this is what my job is everyday but to see the thankfulness on someone's face after a kind deed makes my day better.

Why do Mormons believe in “eternal life?”

Having worked in the health care setting I have learned in a non-religious way that life is precious and have seen cases where those one thought should have died did not and the verse. I personally just could not fathom this time on earth being all there is to "life". As you sit back and look at things that happen in the world, one thinks - that is not fair, etc. It is comforting to me to know, there is a time and a place when all will be made fair. What is Mormonism? OR What do Mormons believe?

We are Christians who believe that God has restored (re-established) the same Church that His Son, Jesus Christ, established so many years ago in short. Show more Show less

Why is self-reliance important to Mormons? Why do Mormons talk about emergency preparedness?

Looking at the recent events in the world one can see that the Government is unable to help everyone in the immediate aftermath of a disaster or economic/civil turmoil. When we have our family's prepared with the essentials for enough food, water, shelter etc to sustain us for a few days or more - we are taking into our own hands our survival until outside assistance is available usually 3 days- a week. Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

Worshiping Joseph Smith is not what we are all about. Yes, we honor him and are extremely thankful he had the courage to seek out answers to questions he had, but we do not worship him like we do God or Jesus Christ. Show more Show less
