Hi I'm Derrick

Legally disabled since birth, fought, went to college and moved many times to keep a job. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Since high school, I went to college and fought for many jobs, worked for a dozen employers in three different states who wish they could keep me employed had they any more work to give. I successfully led teams and completed projects when others couldn't with everything from concept to construction. I've been married and have four kids. I've at different times owned and sold five homes in five distant cities in less than ten years. I've won and lost investments and love only one profession with a passion no employer could ever begin to understand. On top of all that without the aid of hearing instruments I'm legally and severely disabled but never surrendered. That's who I am. Now come what may . . .

Why I am a Mormon

Without Christ, I am lost. "Therefore it is given to abide in you; the record of heaven; the Comforter; the peaceable things of immortal glory; the truth of all things; that which quickeneth all things, which maketh alive all things; that which knoweth all things, and hath all power according to wisdom, mercy, truth, justice, and judgment." -Moses 6:61

How I live my faith

Diligently. Steadfastly.
