Hi I'm Aaron Robinson

I'm a native Utahn. I love working with the young at heart. And I'm a Mormon:)

About Me

I was born and raised in Utah and it's hard to live here and not fall in love with the outdoors. I grew up camping and hiking and mountain biking, but somehow only skied the "greatest snow on earth" one time in 21 years.

Why I am a Mormon

As I see the shifting patterns of the world we live in, I long to find something I can count on, but not just something I can count on, but something I can feel is safe. I suppose that from the moment we leave the nest, so to speak, we realize that this world doesn't care if we stand or fall. I longed for a place to feel like I was on a path that my Heavenly Father wanted me to be on; somewhere where He knew I could be happy and safe. I believe that He has set up His Church in these Latter Days to give us a place to go for shelter, to feel safe. A place to find friendship with Him and with His Son and with our brothers and sisters. I stick with this Church because I feel safe here. I feel loved here and I feel that if I am having troubles, He can heal me here.

How I live my faith

I work with the Youth in our Church. It's a great opportunity to grow along with them and I realize at the end of the day that they are sometimes much more mature than I am :) I work with boys who are ages 14-16 and we have all kinds of fun. Each Winter, we take a couch that we screwed snow ski's on the bottom of, and drive it to a hill covered in snow. We then take turns piling on it as many of us as possible and sending it racing down the hill. We'll go hiking, camping, skiing, snowboarding, and mountain biking one day and then switch it up and rake leaves for the widows in the neighborhood on another. What better way is there to spend a Saturday right?!
