Hi I'm John

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in the Greater Los Angeles Area. I have two daughters, who I love very much. I have been a professional investigator for over 20 years, and I am an unpublished writer.

Why I am a Mormon

Before joining the Church some seven years ago, I was an atheist. Having said that, there was one thing I could not rectify: creation. I always had trouble imagining that the universe, humanity, and all of creation was simply an accident. One time, when I attended Church with my then future wife, who was already a member, I heard a sacrament talk. This talk was about why bad things happen to good people. It was a talk that truly touched me. After hearing that talk, I wanted to learn more. I was baptized about 2 months later.

How I live my faith

My faith is important to me. I live my faith by doing my best to follow the teachings of Christ. I try to apply the things that I learn in Church and in scripture study. I know these things will help me be a better person. I share the things I learn with my family, and friends. I look for opportunites to be of service both through the Church and other organizations.

How can I know Mormonism is true?
