Hi I'm E. Larson

I grew up in Oregon. I'm grateful for my family and my country. I'm Mormon.

About Me

I'm a student of advertising and journalism and I enjoy all sports and playing the piano.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in an LDS family where I was taught how to make good choices. The older I get, the more I see how important it was for me to know about the gospel and how it helped me stay out of trouble. I've also seen times where the Lord has helped me in my life, and I can't deny it. The Book of Mormon really helped me know the church is true. Every time I open it and look for an answer to a question about how to live my life, I find it.

How I live my faith

I spent two years on an LDS church mission in Taiwan, Taipei, where I shared the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. I spent a couple years also teaching youth about the gospel in the wee hours of the morning (it's called early morning seminary). Right now I play the organ for meetings and I organize a monthly potluck event.

What is being a Mormon like?

E. Larson
It's wonderful. You have some great times with the friends you'll make. It makes you feel stable because you know there is someone you can always go to. You're always learning new doctrine and principles that help you to live the abundant life. Life's great in the Church! Show more Show less

How are the activities of the Mormon missionaries funded?

E. Larson
Most missionaries provide their own funds, often with help from families or members of their local congregation. A large part of the missionaries save up the money themselves. Show more Show less
