Hi I'm Eric

I grew up on Long Island. I'm a blue collar guy with an awesome family. One of the best things about me, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi, My name is Eric . I'm forty two years old and live with my wife and my two little girls. I'm blue collar guy with a lot of interests. I enjoy reading (history, westerns, and political thrillers). I love music. I love listening to it and trying (emphasis on trying) to create my own. My favorite sports are Hockey and college football and basketball (I love my University of Arizona Wildcats). The two F's though are the most important to me above anything. My Faith and my Family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised Catholic and never really thought I'd leave that faith. When I moved to Arizona (I grew up on Long Island, NY) I met friends who changed my life (especially my faith life) without knowing it. It wasn't because of them telling me about being LDS, because they really didn't. It was through their friendship and kindness that the seed was planted. It wasn't for another couple of years, in a totally different location (Seattle, WA this time) that I was introduced to the church . Again, it wasn't a knock at the door or being approached by missionaries, but the kindness of a friend that made me look into the church. By the example of living a gospel centered life, it could be just what someone needs to start searching this amazing church. I wish I could say it was an easy road till this day, but it was not. After being baptized on January 6, 1998, i was active for about six months and than stepped away for 8 years. Although I wanted nothing to do with this church, it always seemed to be there in my heart. Eight years later, I returned and haven't turned away since. To make a long story short, by Heavenly Father blessing my life with great friends and letting me know through the Holy Spirit that this is where I need to be. That's why I am A Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be the best me I can be. I try to keep my life as positive as I can be. I read my scriptures and pray daily. I try to only watch movies and shows that have some sort of value. I listen to alot of great music that is uplifting and sunny. I also share my faith with anybody that has questions.
