Hi I'm Laura

I served as a full-time missionary in Italy, and am now a full time student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 24, and just finishing my first year of University. I am interested in a lot of different things, which made it hard to decide what to study. I love music, sciences and maths, photography, and writing. I love languages, and traveling. I love to do all that I can to help others, and make them happy so I'm studying Psychology. My family is very important to me, I'm a relatively new aunt, and it's great!

Why I am a Mormon

Why I became a Mormon, My grandparents let the missionaries into their home to change their lives, while my mother was still young. My Father was baptized, thanks to my mother, and they were married, and my siblings were all baptized at 8 years old. When It was my turn, I felt it was good, and the right thing to do so, I too was baptized. Why am I STILL a Mormon? I can see evidence every single day, of God's presence in my life. I have prayed, and gotten answers. I have read the Bible, and the Book of Mormon, and I love the things I read in both of them. They teach the same things. I know that God loves me, and I prayed to know if Joseph Smith was a prophet, called by God, and I got an answer. I know my Heavenly Father's plan, and I know that he encouraging me to continue this way. He loves all of His children, and He wants us all to be happy. I am happiest when I follow Him.

How I live my faith

I have been blessed with many opportunities to help out in my community and church. I have been able to work with the youth, at camps, and various other activities. I was also able to teach the small children in church. I volunteered to be a full-time missionary for a year and a half. I currently am helping to plan and organize events for the women 18 and older in the church's womens association called "Relief Society". All of these opportunities and experiences have been amazing, and the things I've learned, are priceless to me.
