Hi I'm Craig

I love the outdoors. I work in information security. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a husband to my dream girl and we have four fun kids. I studied information systems management and now work in information security. Growing up I spent a lot of time mountain biking. Now I enjoy taking my kids fishing and camping. I also love serving in Scouting.

Why I am a Mormon

I feel a deep sense of debt and gratitude to our Savior, Jesus Christ. Despite my many imperfections, he has blessed me with so much. I have felt his help when I've turned to him with a struggle or problem. Through the teachings of His gospel I know how I can turn to him for help, how I can gain strength through him, and how I can reach out to others as he would. I have a long way to go to be the person I want to be, and being a practicing Mormon is the only way I can see to get there.

How I live my faith

I am an assistant to our lay bishop and help teach and lead other members of our congregation. We don't have a paid clergy, we all volunteer to help where needed. I work with the leaders of our youth and children organizations to make sure they have what they need to teach them about the Savior and to have fun, wholesome activities. I'm amazed at the dedication of these volunteer leaders. They accomplish great things. I'm also impressed with the wonderful youth and children in our congregation---they give me great hope in the future.

What do Mormons believe concerning the doctrine of grace?

We believe that it is only through the grace of Jesus Christ that we can be saved. We recognize that while we should do our best to keep the commandments and serve others, we will still fall short. We have to put our faith and trust in the Savior. Show more Show less
