Hi I'm Cindy!

I'm a teacher, I love to travel, I do a mean Cher impression...and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a girl in my twenties, just trying to make things happen. I graduated from BYU and then went on to spend a year in South Korea teaching English. Recently I completed my Masters in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) at the University of York, in York, England, and I hope to one day work with immigration programs in the United States. I love to be immersed in different cultures but I also can't ever get enough of home. My six brothers are my best friends and we love to party.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a nomad of sorts-a wanderer. I enjoy experiences. Often these experiences lead me far away from those I love most and into situations of sincere loneliness. But over the past few years I have come to really know and appreciate the companionship of the Savior in my life. I have come to know Him and I know He knows me. I know each person I meet is a child of God and deserves love-the same love we receive from above can be shared below. It is this knowledge that pushes me to keep close to my faith. This gospel is a constant reminder of our Saviors love and this truth keeps my testimony nourished.

How I live my faith

My life is cushioned by my faith. Every decision I make is influenced by this gospel and I wouldn't have it any other way. I participate within my church in various ways, including monthly meetups with women in our faith where we share what is going on in our lives and ways we can make our testimonies stronger. I love to teach basic principles of the gospel to the members of our congregation, but also to individuals who are not yet sure of what we believe! And who doesn't love time spent in a choir? I know I do.
