Hi I'm Michael

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Michael. I am currently serving a full time mission in the Las Vegas Nevada West mission. I am in love with serving God's children and feel love for the people that I work with, I believe that that love comes from God, for i truly believe He loves all of his children individually. I am looking forward to returning from my mission and starting school again and getting down to business.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I was born into the church, I did my share of doubting and challenging my family's beliefs. As I grew up i learned that there really was no happiness outside of the gospel, there were distractions of every kind, but no happiness. Soon before i turned 20 I found myself in a crisis situation and realized the only one i could really look to was Christ. I still had plenty of doubts and did not have a complete desire to change. But as I lived the commandments I learned for myself and my desires changed and my happiness began to grow. I developed irreplaceable friendships and have had opportunities to serve and watched others grow. Best decision of my life.

How I live my faith

Right now I am serving a full time mission, seeking out those who are seeking the gospel in there lives. I know that we can all benifit from developing a relationship with God and making use of the sacrifice Jesus Christ made for us. I have seen proof of this in my own life as well as others. Nothing makes me happier than to see someone come unto Christ and to begin to feel the love of God that we are all entitled too.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

In order to come to know whether the mormon doctrines are correct you must know one thing: You must know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. In the introduction to the book it states that Joseph Smith call the book the cornerstone of our religion. As in an archway, the most important stone is the top-most one that is typically larger than the rest. With out this stone the archway would fall. The same is true for the Book of Mormon. In the last paragraph off the introduction, we read that by knowing that the Book of Mormon to be the word of God we will also know that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world, Joseph Smith was his revelator and The Church of Jesus Christ is Gods kingdom once again established on the earth. By knowing these things I know that we have the priesthood authority to baptize, and have a prophet leading our church who is under the direction of God. everyone who accepts this as truth will see their lives and the lives of their families bless for all eternity, I invite all to study and ponder the book and to pray to know if it is true. I promise the Holy Ghost will, with persistance on your part, confirm the truthfullness of this book and therefore, mormonism. Show more Show less
