Hi I'm Brad

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a Robotics Engineer at a Defense Contractor company. I am married to an amazing woman who is a talented actress. We are in the youth of our family, and are excited for it to grow. We love to travel and explore. We regularly go on family outings to amusement parks, campgrounds, parks, malls, museums...basically whatever we can find. We love spending time together, learning and growing and experiencing new things.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon both by birth and by decision. Growing up in the Mormon faith, we are always taught to seek answers for ourselves. I have done this many times throughout my life. I have felt the power of God's love reaching out to me. I have felt the love that Jesus Christ has for me. I have witnessed the power the Book of Mormon has in changing people's lives, and directing them to Christ. Because of these experiences, my love for the Lord continues to grow, my personal relationship with him gets stronger, and my desire to be an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints gets stronger as well.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in the quotidian aspects of life. The gospel helps me to treat my wife with love and respect. It helps me be a better father to my children. It reminds me to hold my temper, be active in showing love, and foster a healthy environment for my kids to grow up in. It teaches me to be honest at work and to be hard-working and diligent. In my local congregation, I am currently serving as the leader of the Young Men's program. I am in charge of directing weekly activities for young men ages 12-18. A lot of what we do is oriented to the Scouting program, since it also teaches strong values and molds young people into people of integrity.

What is the Word of Wisdom that Mormons talk about?

The Word of Wisdom is a commandment given to God's children (us) through the prophet Joseph Smith. Now, as imposing as that sounds, it's actually just really great advice on how to live healthily. The Word of Wisdom tells us what is good to eat, like grains and fruit and vegetables, small portions of meat, and that we should focus on consuming these. It also warns against consuming alcohol, tobacco, drugs and other substances that can be harmful and/or addicting. Show more Show less

What do Mormons believe about family?

We believe they are the fundamental building blocks in society. And not just on Earth, but in Heaven. We believe that families can live together in the afterlife, forever. Show more Show less
