Hi I'm Todd

I'm a husband to my wife, father to my children, dedicated worker, faithful servant and bishop, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a husband to my wife, father to my children, dedicated worker, faithful servant and bishop. I have been a member for 11 years (since Oct 1999) and a bishop for less than 1 year (Mar 2010). I am the only member of the Church on my side of the family. My wife and her family's membership dates back to the restoration of the Church. I enjoy spending quiet time with my wife after the kids are in bed and also the loud chaotic times when they are not. My family is my most cherished gift I have here in this life.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was 28, I met a woman that introduced me to the Church. After I attended church the first time, I was hooked. Those that were there were outgoing and friendly. The sacrament meeting seemed tailor-made to me and the messages spoke truths and my heart was softened. A short time later, during my first trip to SLC, we went to the Temple Square Visitors Center. While sitting at the feet of the Christus, I began to sob. And, at that moment, knew that I wanted to serve Him and be a part of His church. Not too long thereafter, I was baptized, received the blessings of the temple and was married for time and all eternity to that wonderful woman that decided to share the gospel with her co-worker.

How I live my faith

I strive to be conscientious and look for opportunities to help others. I spend a lot of time counseling with individuals and family on how to strengthen their faith and testimonies of Jesus Christ.

How can we stop the spread and influence of pornography?

We need to find joy and in finding joy we must really de-clutter our lives. The influences of media through television, magazines, internet, and music can be overwhelming at times with images and suggestions that we must make vain attempts in always looking for something better. With this barrage on our senses we have become desensitized to that which is wholesome and moral. If it be your desire and strive to remove these negative influences we can overcome and begin to make a dent in stopping the spread of pornography. Show more Show less
