Hi I'm Amy B.

I am a 27 year old mother of 5 kids and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a 27 year old mother of 5 kids ages 9 years old to 6 months old. Yes, I know that is a lot of kids. I love being a wife and mother and feel that there is nothing more important I could be doing than raising my children to be honest, faithful and loving to everyone around them.

Why I am a Mormon

It's quite simple really... I know this is the fullness of The Lord's gospel here upon the earth. The Lord lives and He is active in our lives. He has given us the ability to learn as much as we have the desire to learn about Him, what we are here for and where we are going. I love that this is a church of revelation, not just through a living prophet, but through personal revelation. I love that The Lord has blessed us with the ability to be sealed together as a family not just for time here on earth, but for eternity. Families truly can be together forever and Marriage does not have to be "until death do you part". I have had a confirmation in my heart and soul on many occasions that this is The Lord's church, I have no doubt. I know in my heart that The Book of Mormon is true and correct and is a second witness of Jesus Christ. I am a Mormon because I couldn't imagine living another day in the dark. The gospel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the light of truth and righteousness. It is my guide, my compass, my anchor and my foundation. In a world of so much confusion... I know who I am, a Daughter of God.

How I live my faith

I do my best to teach my children to love our Savior Jesus Christ and to keep His commandments and walk in His ways. I work with the youth through the cub scout program and participate in church functions when ever possible. However my faith goes much farther than just attending church on Sundays and participating during the week, it is something that I live and love every day. I love that I am able to develop a personal closeness with my Savior and Redeemer and to have the joy that comes along with that. I take the time to diligently study the scriptures, both The Book of Mormon and the Bible on a regular basis and study many good books. I love to learn and discover new things.

What do Mormons believe about family?

Amy B.
This is my favorite question because family is something that is so dear and special to me. We believe that families can be sealed to be together for eternity and that the family is the most important unit not only in this life, but in the next as well. So many of today's problems have to do with the degrading of family values, we believe that strong family values are critical for raising children in righteousness and faith. With that being said, most of our emphasis is on the family, to strengthen it and nurture it. Show more Show less
