Hi I'm Jessica Lynee'

I'm a young single adult, working in education, and as happy as I can be, because I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hello! My name is Jessica. I currently work in the field of education.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because to be Mormon is to live a high moral code, work to improve ourselves, and align ourselves with the will of God. Because this has become my quest I have found I have been blessed beyond measure. I truly have been taken care of, watched over, and I have also enjoyed the companionship of the Holy Spirit, which assists me in times of difficulty and decision making.

How I live my faith

My faith is deeply connected to my daily life. Because of my faith I am happy no matter the circumstance I find myself in. Because of my faith and the standards it's provided me, I have every opportunity before me. It is the most liberating feeling imaginable.

Why are Mormons asked to donate 10% of their income to their Church?

Jessica Lynee'
The principle of tithing (donating 10% of our income to the Lord) has never been a difficult one for me to live. I know that Heavenly Father has given me first, a family that believes strongly in education. Second, the opportunity for a first rate education. And thirdly, an ability to learn and develop the skills required in my chosen profession. Because I know these blessings come from Heavenly Father originally, it's not hard for me to want to give a mere 10% of my income. I have received countless blessings because I have payed my tithing. As mentioned earlier I work in education and with that comes a conservative salary. But because I have paid my tithing, the Lord has made my income more than enough. I own my own house as well as have the chance to travel the world. I know that this is possible because of my willingness to pay tithing. Show more Show less
