Hi I'm Josh

I love science and I'm studying molecular biology at Brigham Young University.

About Me

My passion for science and uncovering truths about how the world works started when I was young. I grew up working on different science projects with my dad. I decided that molecular biology would be a good degree for studying and treating different diseases. While studying biology I have been impressed by how much we know, but I am even more astonished by the things we don't know. I believe that there are two ways of finding truth. One way is though the scientific method and the other is through personal revelation. The truths that I have learned by studying the Gospel of Jesus Christ have change my life and continue to do so.

Why I am a Mormon

As a scientist I learn by doing experiments. I started reading the Book of Mormon. I listened to and read talks from Church leaders. I began praying. As I did these things I felt a changes come into my life. I felt more peace and safety. I had a stronger desire to keep the commandments. I felt more loved and felt that my relationships with other people were better. While praying I have felt God's love for me. I know God knows each of us and loves us more than we can comprehend. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and that the Church is guided by a living prophet.

How I live my faith

I've had opportunities to serve in a few different church callings. My current calling is to help people learn how to do family history and temple work. I try my best to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ. In trying to do so, many times I slip and fall and have to get back up and keep trying to do what Heavenly Father wants me to do.
