Why I am a Mormon

i didnt like where my life was going and felt like i was missing something in my life. i am a convert to the church. i know the church is true and the book of mormon is another testament of jesus christ. i know president monson is a prophet of the church. i also know joseph smith was a prophet of the church in his time.

How I live my faith

i try to live my faith by keeping the commandments and live my life the way god wants me to live my life. i surround my life with good people who believe in the samethings i do.

Why do Mormons perform baptisms for the dead?

temples are used for baptisms for the dead. we can also confirm for the dead as well. temples are also used for sealings. you can be sealed to your family forever. i like the idea of being sealed to my husband and children forever Show more Show less

Are there restrictions based on race or color concerning who can join The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and have the priesthood?

no there are not restrictions on race or color. anyone and everyone is welcome to join the church or to visit the church Show more Show less

What are Mormon church services like? Are visitors allowed at church meetings? Can I attend church?

yes visitors are allowed to attend meetings. the church accepts all visitors. we have classes for all age groups. visitors can come to one meeting or all three meetings. Show more Show less

How do I become a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon Church)?

What you can do is go visit the church you live by. when you are there you will be able to meet other members of the ward/branch. they can answer any questions you might have about the church. while you are there you will also have the chance to meet the missionaries. you can schedule an appointment with them. what will happen is they will teach you lessons about the gospel. they will also ask you if you would like to be baptised.
