Hi I'm Bryan

Just starting Medical School. Born in the U.S., but also grew up in Japan. Love music, being outside, and learning.

About Me

I've got a family of 6 , 3 brothers + a sister-in-law and a nephew I love to visit when I can!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in a Mormon Family. When I was in elementary school my family moved to Tokyo. The Church became a large part of my life and an anchor to my family as we ventured out to a new place. I developed a strong feeling that I am a child of God and that through the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints I can have all the blessings I want and need to return to Him someday. As time goes on, I continue to find confirmation of my faith in the many simple miracles that show me God's hand in my life.

How I live my faith

Right now I serve on the activities committee for my ward.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Bryan
In the Book of Mormon, Moroni promises at the end that if one reads it, with faith in Christ, and asks God if it's true, then you can know if it is true. The Book of Mormon teaches fundamental doctrine about God, Jesus Christ, and everything the "Mormons" believe. Reading it and praying to God to know if it's true will lead you to an answer. What do Mormons believe about the Holy Ghost? Who is the Holy Ghost?

Bryan
Mormons believe that the Holy Ghost testifies of Truth and provides comfort and communication for us from God. If we want to know the truth of something or are seeking guidance, we can find it by praying to God - He will answer us with feelings and insight through the Holy Ghost. Show more Show less

What do Mormons believe concerning the doctrine of grace?

Bryan
Salvation comes only through Jesus Christ, but we must turn to him and allow his grace to save us (2 Nephi 25: 23). We are all lost in sin, but through Christ's Atonement, we can be made clean and return to Heavenly Father again. Show more Show less

What is a ward/stake/branch?

Bryan
Wards are local congregations and are grouped into stakes throughout the world. In areas where there are fewer members of the Church, there are branches, which are smaller versions of wards. Show more Show less
