Hi I'm Nicole Marie

I have a strong belief in high heels, kale, leggings, lip stick and of course, Jesus Christ. Oh. And I’m a mormon.

About Me

I am just an ordinary girl. I was raised in a small farming community. I love gravel roads, old wise trees and the stillness of the sunrise. Right now I do not live close to my family. Sometimes that can be a challenge. I enjoy singing at the top of my lungs when no one is around and "dancing" in my car as I drive.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I know that God is my loving Heavenly Father and that He restored the fullness of the Gospel of His Son Jesus Christ to the earth through the prophet Joseph Smith. I know the Jesus is the Christ and that He has the power to heal and change lives. I have come to know these things through study and prayer. I was raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. But I did not stay a Mormon because I was raised a Mormon. I have always been a seeker of truth. I made a decision to search the doctrine that I was taught as a child. I thought it out in my mind. I talked with people. But most importantly, I talked with God. God had always answered my prayers in the past so when I brought religion to the table I knew He would guide me there as well.

How I live my faith

I attend church every Sunday. Sometimes I help lead the music. I am not very good at it but I love to sing the hymns. It is one of my favorite ways to worship God and Jesus Christ. But I think the real way I live my faith is to love. I love and accept all people. I know they are my brothers and sisters. That we are all children of God. That we are all divine. Because of this knowledge I believe that I should treat every one as a beloved spirit son or daughter of a King. No matter a person's circumstances or life choices, they deserve to be loved and cherished.
