Hi I'm Nathan R. Daniels

I was born deaf in one ear and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Well like I said I was born deaf in one ear. I like to play video games, read, go camping, and hang out with my family and friends. I have two older sisters who are both married and a Mom and Dad. We love watching movies together and playing tons of board games.

Why I am a Mormon

Honestly I was born into the church. I've done some research and one of my ancestors first joined the church in England and then migrated over to the United States to live his religion. I am still Mormon because I have done what most Mormons have done, read and prayed about the Book of Mormon. I have felt the warmth and comfort that the book brings and know it is from God. I know the Bible to be words from God as well. Because I know that the Book of Mormon is true, I know that Joseph Smith is a prophet from God. It was by the power of God that Joseph Smith was able to translate the book. I love the Book of Mormons pages and the content inside. It really brightens my day when I read from it. So in short that why I'm Mormon, because I know it all comes from God and He wants me here.

How I live my faith

I live my faith each day. I am not perfect. I mess up, but I know one thing that can help me every time. That is applying the Atonement to my life or in other words I pray for forgiveness and repent. Through Christ I can become better. I live my faith by trying to be better each day, even though I know I will mess up.

What do Mormons believe about the Holy Ghost? Who is the Holy Ghost?

Nathan R. Daniels
The Holy Ghost is part of the God Head. Which is essentially a three person presidency with God at the top with Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost as His counselors. They are one in purpose, but three separate people. The Holy Ghost is the only one without a body. He has a Spirit that can touch our lives. The Holy Ghost's job is to testify of truth and to be a comfort and a shield in these hard times. When I feel the influence of the Holy Ghost it feels like a warm hug. It feels good and peaceful. I know he is real.   Show more Show less

Who chooses the Mormon prophet?

Nathan R. Daniels
Ha ha. Mormon prohpet... Well I personally wouldn't call the prophet a mormon prophet. We claim that this church the mormon church is lead by Jesus Christ. Not only do we follow Him, but He leads us. And He does that through a prophet of God. So who chooses the Mormon prophet? Jesus Christ our living Savior. Show more Show less

What do Mormons believe about the nature of God?

Nathan R. Daniels
Number one to me would be that he LOVES us. He truly does. He has a physical body of flesh and bone. He is perfect and wants us to be like Him. Show more Show less
