Hi I'm M. Young

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 24. I love soccer. I love going camping and 4-wheeling. I am going to college right now but I don't know what I want to do for a career. I have an amazing wife that makes me want to be a better person everyday.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born Mormon, but one thing that I realized when I was 17 is whether or not I know that the church I belong to is the true church. I asked God in prayer to know if the Mormon church was his church with the authority to act in his name. I received an answer that it was and that has given me strength to help others know of its truth. I love that the Mormon church teaches life after death because when I was 13 my dad pasted away from cancer. It was a hard time in my life to understand why he had to go. As I gained a testimony I have come to know that if I live the way I need to; that I can see my dad again one day.

How I live my faith

The way that I live my faith is by being actively engaged with the church with the different responsibilities I have. I am the Secretary to the Bishop. I help make appointments for people to counsel with the Bishop. I live my faith my living the commandments that are in the scriptures and what I learn from a modern day prophet.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

M. Young
Yes, I love my wife very much and would be sad if I wasn't able to live with her forever. Through the restoration of the priesthood from the prophet Joseph Smith families are able to partake in this blessing in Mormon temples that are found throughout the world. Mormons believe that families can live together in heaven from the ordinances performed in these temples. Show more Show less
