Hi I'm David

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a graphic designer professionally and I spend my free time with my wife, working on our photography business, and making music.

Why I am a Mormon

I decided to follow this faith because I saw the differences in the lives of those who lived its principles and those that didn't. I chose to read the Book of Mormon and pray about it, and I gained a divine witness for myself that it is a true book. My parents raised me in this church but there comes a time when everyone needs to know what's right for themselves. I made that decision in highschool and I've never looked back. I love what this church provides and the comfort that I find in the sacrifice that Jesus made for me and all of us.

How I live my faith

I serve as a secretary in our church to coordinate visits to people who are struggling in one way or another. I was a missionary in southern California for two years, and I've kept up with the Spanish language to be able to find more ways to serve. It's important to stand up for your principles wherever you are, at all times. People will respect you for it, and you will be an inspiration to them.

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

We live "normal" lives in the sense that we have families, go to work, go to school, go out to eat, etc., but what makes us different is that while doing all of those things we have an overarching commitment to representing the Savior Jesus Christ wherever we go. Many of our members start off the day with personal prayer and scripture study, and we try our best to do things as a family when it comes to our religion. We try to share our beliefs with others because it has made us happy and it's what works for us. We face similar trials to many other people, but we draw strength from eternal truths and the assurance that Christ has already felt the weight of those trials. Show more Show less
