Hi I'm Trina Elizabeth

I traveled the world seeking truth and found it. Now I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of so far 3 beautiful children. I live in a small northern community of Alberta, Canada. I love being outside in God's creation walking, gardening, jogging, playing with my kids, building snow forts, etc. I love to help people see God's hand in their life and to unlock their limitless potential.

Why I am a Mormon

Wow - what a big question! Even though I joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in April 1999 when I was 20 years old, the answer to why I am a Mormon feels like it has no beginning and no end. It is just such an integral part of my life. I'm Mormon because my Heavenly Father loves me! That's the truth of it. He has a plan for me and my life and getting back to live with him that involves me joining His church when I was 20. But the plan was made before I was born. I was promised that I would have certain opportunities and experiences on earth that would lead me to the blessings I desire. I love the Lord. I love seeing his hand in my life. When I was 20 I really loved having genuine people to hang out with who didn't drink, smoke, profane, etc. The LDS young single adult scene was so fun for me - exactly what I was looking for at the time with an over-abundance of truth available for me to answer all the questions that I had about God and my relationship with him. I simply knew the things I was learning from my Latter-day Saint friends and the missionaries were true! Absolutely true - revealed from God and witnessed to my soul by the power of the Holy Ghost. So that's why I became a Mormon and that's why I still am a Mormon today. Where else would I go? For me there is nowhere else. It's just who I am. Eternally.

How I live my faith

I help my kids learn about Jesus and how they can turn to Him for help in all things I teach Sunday School class at church and in 2011 I am so excited to study the New Testament and learn how to create miracles in our lives from the Master himself.
