Hi I'm Heather Anne

About Me

I am the mother of three beautiful children and the eternal companion of my very best friend. I got my BS degree in Family and Human Development and am currently putting that knowledge to use as I stay home with my kiddos each day.

Why I am a Mormon

I think if there is one core thing that I want my children to know, it is to truly listen to their hearts. There is a feeling of warmth...of love and joy and happiness...that radiates from the depths of my heart and penetrates my soul when I feel the Savior's love for me. I feel it when I learn new truths about His gospel, when I pray for guidance while making decisions, when I study the scriptures and question the Lord of the truthfulness of what I have just read. The warmth speaks to my heart and brings quiet comfort to my mind. This feeling bears testimony to me of truth. I have been to other churches and none of them gave me the same feeling of warmth that I feel when I attend the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I challenge anyone who reads this to read the Book of Mormon, pray, ponder, and listen to the feelings of your heart. You will feel the same warmth I am speaking of. And as you explore these feelings, you will get increasingly familiar with the joy our Savior wants all of us to have. I KNOW this Church is true. I have felt it so strongly in my heart that I cannot ever deny it.

How I live my faith

I am currently the ward Primary President, which means I, with a group of three other women, am responsible for helping the children (ages 18 months to 12 years) learn the basic principles of the Gospel and how to apply them to their lives. I love seeing their faces light up as they feel the truthfulness of the things they are taught. Many of the children come from broken homes or rough situations, so it is neat to see in their countenance the peace and safety they feel while they are at Church.

Is it true that Jesus appeared in North America after his crucifixion and resurrection according to the Book of Mormon?

Heather Anne
The Bible speaks of "other sheep which are not of this fold." The Book of Mormon teaches that the people in North America are who Jesus was referring to. He appeared to them to organize His church on the North American continent as well. Read the Book of Mormon. Honestly and sincerely pray about it. How else will you genuinely learn for yourself?
