Hi I'm Anya

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a married stay at home mother of two children. My husband and I love to travel, camp, spend time with family, drive our 1979 VW bus, and laugh! We know the importance of strengthening our marriage. Our oldest child has autism. I decided to go back to college and I plan on helping other families with similar challenges. We feel privileged to raise such beautiful kids. I have grown through my life trials by relying on Heavenly Father who knows and loves me. I will never regret the decision to join this church when I was 18 years old. It has saved my life.

Why I am a Mormon

As a teenager, I wondered about the purpose of life. I searched many religions and visited numerous churches. When I learned about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, I had a feeling of joy and peace come over me. These good feelings assured me I had found the right church. I felt like I was home again.

How I live my faith

I currently serve within the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. One Sundar per month, I have the opportunity to present a lesson to the women within my congregation . We have amazing, powerful, and spiritually strong women in our church. We women gather each Sunday to strengthen each other and learn the teachings of Jesus Christ.

How are the activities of the Mormon missionaries funded?

Mormon missionaries save their own money in order to serve the Lord and share the gospel with others. Some missionaries are blessed with financial assistance from family members or church friends. However, the responsibility lies on the individual missionary. It is an amazing thing to see these young men and women saving, working, and preparing to leave home and share the gospel of Jesus Christ with strangers. Show more Show less
