Hi I'm Steve and Linda

We are semi retired and we are Mormon.

About Me

We have been married for more than 40 years. We have four chilren and four grandchildren. We spent 28 years in the United States Air Force where Steve served as an active duty chaplain. Our most joy come from being with family and playing with and watching our grandchilren grow. We love serving people in the capacity of counselor, mentor, and helper. Steve is a professional counselor and Linda serves as a service missionary working with unwed mothers and in the office ofLDS Family Services.

Why I am a Mormon

Both of us were raised in LDS families, met in college, and shared a love of the Lord, His Gospel, and followed him through service to others. Traveling the world, we loved learning about diverse cultures, gaining understanding of different people and their beliefs, and we were affirmed in our faith and understanding that God loves all of humanity, His children. Out faith is continually nurtured and through serving and receiving service of others. The most unique aspect that keeps us secure in our belief is that the love of our Heavenly Father has no limit and is not restricted to any group, race, population, or even historical era. Through the atonement of His Son and His Gospel he has provided means for all of his children to have the opportunity in both this life and, for those who did not have that opportunity in this life they may have it in the next, to choose to return and dwell with him and share his joy in the eternities. That possibility is not only limited to individuals but we may share that eternal relationship with Heavenly Father with our own current family members, plus ancestors and progeny.

How I live my faith

We love serving in our Church Congregations through assigned callings to visit and care for other specific families and individual and receive that same care from others on at least a monthly basis. We have served in a number of positions from serving youth, teenagers, to various teaching and leadership callings. The greatest joy comes from dealing with others on a 1 on 1 basis.
