Hi I'm Kristine C.

I'm a Mormon. I am proud of my heritage & I feel blessed to know the truth

About Me

My life has been a very unique experience and full of challenges. I have suffered from an infertility disease, and was unable to bear children, however, Heavenly Father blessed me with the wonderful opportunity to have raised three choice daughters from My ex-husband's first marriage, and to have them sealed to me for eternity... So, I am "Mom" to six wonderful children, the three of whom are sealed to me. I have three daughters from my first marriage, and when I remarried, he brought into the marriage three more children, two sons and a daughter. The youngest son has Down's Syndrome, and I am humbled and so blessed to have the opportunity to have these wonderful children in my life. I have been so blessed to have been able to be a full time Mom to my children, and also that my three oldest daughters "chose" to keep me as their Mom, and Eternal Mother.I have four granddaughters, and two grandsons. I do believe that Heavenly Father has created individual plans for us and that we are blessed with the faith that this is all part of our Eternal Plan. I have been married to my wonderful husband, James for nearly 7 years, and we will soon be sealed for time and all Eternity.

Why I am a Mormon

I guess I am Mormon partly because I was born in the Covenant, My parents are both Mormon and were married in the temple. I continue to be Mormon because I gained my own personal testimony and knew the truthfulness of the Gospel when I was 19 years old. I rely on the Gospel to give me the strength I need to guide my children and grandchildren the way they should go.

How I live my faith

I have worked with the Young Women in my ward. The young women that I worked with have been huge influences in my life and continue to strengthen my testimony on a daily basis. In my daily life, I pray individually and with my family a lot. I have learned in my life that I can't make it through my day without the blessing of constant communication with my Heavenly Father. I rely on the teachings of the Gospel in making day to day decisions. Having a blended family requires daily prayer, scripture reading and communication with God.

To what do you attribute the growth of the Church?
