Hi I'm Dave

I'm a husband and father of three. I'm a project manager. And, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love the Midwestern United States! I grew up in the heartland of the United States, and though I've lived many other places, I have found my way back to this place I call "home." I've got a great family! My wife and three children are my greatest blessing. My wife and I grew up in large families with loving parents who taught us Christlike values. We're striving now to teach our children these same values of faith, hope and charity. I'm a construction project manager. I've learned that each project is like solving a puzzle. Each one has its own unique challenges and issues to resolve, and even though the end result is the same, getting there is a different experience every time. That's what makes my work so enjoyable!

Why I am a Mormon

Living in the Midwest when I was growing up gave me the advantage of learning about the Prophet, Joseph Smith and the early history of the Church in an environment where many of these events actually took place. These experiences have made a lasting impact on me. I am a Mormon because I know that God called Joseph Smith to restore the lost truths of the gospel of Jesus Christ, and His church, back to the earth in our time. I've learned about these truths of the gospel in scripture – not only in the Holy Bible, but also in the Book of Mormon, Another Testament of Jesus Christ. One of the purposes of the Book of Mormon is to testify that "Jesus is the Christ, the Eternal God, manifesting Himself unto all nations." I know Jesus Christ is my Savior and Redeemer, and that He will return one day to reign on the earth in peace and righteousness. I know that if I do my part – if I follow His commandments and live my life as He would have me live it – I will be able to live with my family in His kingdom. This is why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

My family and I are not unique. We, like most, keep busy with school and work, but we also find time to serve others. It makes us feel good when we share our time and talents with family, friends and neighbors. I enjoy volunteering my time to the youth of the Church and community. They are our future, and I want them to
