Hi I'm Scott

I'm an information security professional, farmer, husband, father of four, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I work as an information security professional for a worldwide bank, and live on a 14-acre farm. My wife and I have 4 children, and we love to be outdoors - Hiking, camping, running, biking - we love it all.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were Mormons too, so it was easy to go to church with them when I was little. Throughout the years I've developed my own understanding of God and his plan for me. I've come to understand that through Jesus Christ, I can repent of my sins and, through the Savior, my family and I can live together with them after we die.

How I live my faith

The things I've learned in the church help me in my work, as a father and husband, and in the community. I'm more patient and loving with everyone I come in contact with, and I'm so much less judgmental when I run into someone who is less than friendly. The teachings of the church help me have a more optimistic outlook on life. One of the things I love about our church is the opportunity for us to serve each other in various positions within the congregation. Some work with children, others with adults, and others with teenagers. We all help each other learn about the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to come closer to him.
