Hi I'm Lauren

I'm a writer, lover of art, a future missionary and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm an advertising copywriter, an almost college grad and an adrenaline junkie. Oldest of seven. My middle name is Liverpool. I love the arts and big cities. Preparing to serve a mission in Santiago Chile.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the Church, it has always been part of my life. But I always had to lean on my parents and their strength in their testimonies. But when I moved out on my own, I learned the power of the Atonement on my own. I realized that living my religion is what brings me joy and true happiness in my life. Every time life gets a little rough, I can reflect on the fact that Heavenly Father loves me and has a plan of me and that I'm a daughter of God. I find peace and comfort in that.

How I live my faith

Small and simple things matter the most. Having a prayer in my heart constantly, going to church and reading my scriptures. Turning to Heavenly Father and Jesus in time of need. Respecting my body as a gift from heaven. Worshiping at the temple. Loving and caring for my fellow men. Putting faith in Heavenly Father.

What do Mormons believe about family?

Families are the fundamental unit of society. Values and lessons are taught through families. Joy comes through spending quality time together. It's the responsibility for all family members to make efforts to create a loving environment. Home can be a piece of heaven on earth. I strive to put effort into building good relationships with my siblings, parents and extended family, because I know that death doesn't end our relationship. Families can be sealed together for time and all eternity in the temple of God, with the right authority. Show more Show less
