Hi I'm Brent

I am a "Mormon." That is, a believer in Jesus Christ.

About Me

Husband, Dad, Son, Worker, Ward Clerk. Graduated Jr. College with a degree in Engineering Design/Drafting Technology. Going on to a University to earn a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology. Working as a Stagecraftsman where I design and build scenery and special effects and assist with the setup of lighting and sound equipment.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a "Mormon" (Believer in Jesus Christ) because I felt the guidance of God in my life. I have felt His support in my daily troubles. I have seen the power of the Lord heal the sick. I believe the Holy Spirit has testified to me that Jesus is the way the truth and the light. He is the only way to God.

How I live my faith

I serve as the clerk in my local Ward (Congregation). I assist the Bishop (Pastor/Preacher) in administering to the needs of the ward members. I also am a Home Teacher. This means I visit families in my area and assist them with their needs and deliver spiritual messages and pray in their homes for their welfare.

Why do some call Mormonism a cult?

Brent
Because we believe in a living Prophet of God who we believe speaks with God and has the authority to act in God's name. Anything he asks us to do should be regarded as God asking us to do it. Just as it was when Moses spoke to the children of Israel. Show more Show less
