Hi I'm Mark

I am an attorney and I teach law school. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have practiced law for over 20 years and now am teaching full-time at a law school. I love my children (but they live with their mother in another state, so I don't get to spend enough time with them) and I love my wife (and I love the time that I get to spend with her).

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church, but following my parents' example was not enough for me. I had to know for myself. As a young man, I studied the scriptures (both the Bible and the Book of Mormon) and decided to ask God if the Church was true. Although I did not get an immediate answer, I did ultimately get a spiritual confirmation and I can truly testify of its truthfulness. Since that time, I have been blessed many times when I have felt that same spirit renew that testimony and confirm additional truths for me. Simply put, I have found the gospel of Jesus Christ and strive to live the way that I should.

How I live my faith

When there are opportunities to help, I do anything that I can to do so. So I have worked with toddlers, have taught the grown-ups, helped keep records, and did what I could to motivate people looking for work. Sometimes I can work by E-mail, sometimes it requires a telephone, sometimes it happens at the Church building, and sometimes I'll go to someone's home. But personally, I try to read the scriptures, pray for guidance, and make good decisions.
