Hi I'm Jeremy L

I love a good burger and rain (but not necessarily together), I'm a future fly fisherman and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Jeremy. I have been happily married for 19 years and have 4 wonderful children. I love to spend time with my family, serve others in the community and be in the outdoors with a camera.

Why I am a Mormon

I became a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints when I was eight years old. I gained a true knowledge of the divinity of this work when I was a teenager. I spent many hours reading the Book of Mormon and praying to know of its claimed origin - I received an answer to my prayers by recognizing the spirit of truth. I have since tried to live my life in a way that would exemplify the teachings of the Savior. As I make mistakes and fall short of His example, I am grateful that I am able to learn and grow from my experiences. Everything that I hold dear and close to my heart, I can trace to the gospel of Jesus Christ. I know His work is real and everlasting.

How I live my faith

I strive to do my best in serving my family. As a husband and father there are many demands that are required of me. I certainly do not complete these demands without making mistakes along the way. The most important thing for me is that I learn from my mistakes while continuing to make my home a better place to live for my family. As I apply the teachings of the Savior to my life today, I know and understand that my home can and will be a better place for all that enter. Within the church I currently serve as a Bishop of my congregation. I work closely with other leaders that have stewardship responsibilities. Together, we ensure that all members are cared for both temporally and spiritually. It is a daunting responsibility, but I know that if I do all that I can and then rely on the Lord, all things are possible in Him.

Mormons believe Jesus Christ is their Savior. Why do we need a Savior?
