Hi I'm Andrew

I am a fintech product guy and am learning how to make furniture. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi! I'm Andrew. I am 30 years old. I work as a IT manager at a high-tech financial institution. I love being connected and using the latest technology at home and at my job. I enjoy reading, golfing, woodworking, and cooking. My hobbies also include watching TED talks and learning to make sushi with my wife.

Why I am a Mormon

The greatest blessing in my life is my Mormon faith. I am a Mormon because of the following blessings are abundant in my life due to my Mormon faith: Closeness to God – I feel close to God and consistently feel His love. I know that He knows me. I can see that cares about my family and me. I also feel close to His Son, Jesus Christ. I know Jesus Christ is my Savior and he loves me. Happiness and Peace – I am happy. I have a sense of peace that is not found anywhere else. My happiness is deep and lasting. I feel divine calmness, assurance, and joy. Direction and Purpose – I have better sense of purposefulness and direction in my life. I feel confident in making decisions and moving forward as the leader of my family. I know that God knows me and has a plan for me. I know that God’s plan brings peace and happiness.

How I live my faith

I live my Mormon faith by serving and teaching others. Service – I teach a religious class to prospective missionaries each week. I enjoy preparing lessons about Jesus Christ and missionary work each week and helping missionaries prepare to serve and preach. Teaching – Each month I visit a few church members that are assigned to me. These visits are short. We talk about success and failures and family life. Then I have the chance to share a short spiritual message with them that always includes my own testimony. I enjoy visiting these other members and creating meaningful relationships with them. I know that as I serve others, I am serving and loving my Savior, Jesus Christ.
