Hi I'm Earle

I'm a convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

About Me

I am married to the love of my life and we have seven children and 11 grandchildren. I was an only child so the adventure of raising 7 children was all new for me. I am a Certified Public Accountant but my favorite job is being a grandpa.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the LDS Church when I was 12 years old. I remember the day when the missionaries told me about Joseph Smith and his visions. Then they taught me about the Book of Mormon. I had always loved my red letter edition of the Bible which had all the words of Jesus written with red letters. There was a special feeling that came into my heart when I read the words of Jesus in the bible. I felt that same feeling when I read the Book of Mormon. As I look back over 40 years ago I can see that my decision to join the Church has made all the difference in my life. I am so much happier today than I would have been without the gospel. I have a wonderful marriage that will continue for time and all eternity and seven wonderful children raised with the ideals and principles I learned as a member of this Church. I have a hope in Christ that in spite of all my weaknesses and imperfections I will be cleansed through the atonement and embrace Him when he comes again.

How I live my faith

I have served in numerous positions in the LDS Church over the years. Since the Church is pretty much an all volunteer organization it provides wonderful opportunities to serve each other and develop our talents. I have spent many years working with the youth, helping with the finances of the church as a clerk and auditor and serving in various positions responsible for administering the affairs of my local ward. Right now I am responsible for helping sunday school teachers improve their teaching skills.
