Hi I'm Christopher A. Hannan

I grew up in Idaho. I started a computing and office supply company. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Since high school I've been really interested in electronics systems, especially computers and car audio. To fulfill my interests I collect music, movies and video games. I enjoy working with my hands. For example, building a new laptop or desktop computer, or installing a car stereo system. When I don’t have spare time I’m busy going to college and working to pay for my expenses. I married my sweetheart in 2011.

Why I am a Mormon

Before I converted to the church my mom and sister were already members. As a young man I knew that God existed and that He loved me. I also knew that there was something after this life. Growing up, before my conversion, I don’t recall being taught specific aspects of the gospel of Jesus Christ; all I knew was that I had a conscience and that I should be a good person. Once the missionaries taught me about the gospel I knew their message was sent from God. It wasn’t until I read the Book of Mormon though, that I knew The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was the same church that Jesus Christ established when He was on the earth. I prayed to know if the Book of Mormon was true or not and Spirit of God testified to me that it was. After that, it became evident to me that Joseph Smith was responsible for restoring Christ’s church that was lost during the dark ages. I’m grateful to know that the Book of Mormon and the Bible go hand in hand and testify of one another. These two books testify that Jesus is the Christ and that He loves us. He has a plan for us to return to live Him after this life. He also gives us direction in this life on how we can be happy, even in a world of natural disasters and war. He knows each and every one of us individually and wants to give us immortality and eternal life.

How I live my faith

I often attend local community gatherings that the city or university puts on. It’s a good way for my wife and I to spend time with each other. We also strengthen our relationship by attending our temple as often as we can, which brings a sense of love and peace into our lives. At my local congregation I am currently acting as a volunteer information specialist. My responsibilities include taking notes on announcements and creating a weekly newsletter for members of the church.
