Hi I'm Griffin

I like friendly people. I like ham & cheese sandwiches. I too am a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Griffin. I was born in Georgia But shortly thereafter my family moved to Pennsylvania; that is the place I call home. I really enjoy spending time with family and friends. I am the fifth of seven children. I'm really into music; I like to sing and play the trombone. I don't know how good I am at either one.

Why I am a Mormon

I had the oppurtunity to be reared in the light of the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ. Both of my parents are faithful members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and it surrounded me my entire life. As a result of that, I am extremely close to my family and I love them very much. Another benefit of living the Gospel of Jesus Christ I've seen is in my health. I live free of addictions by avoiding harmful substances like coffee and drugs. But the reason "why I am a Mormon" is I have felt the redeeming power of Christ's atonement in my life. I have prayed to know the truth of the Book of Mormon and the restored Gospel on the earth. I know that Christ himself is at the head of this church and he loves me personally.

How I live my faith

Right now I live my faith as a full-time missionary. I have been called by a prophet of God to preach the Gospel for two years to the people of Montana and Wyoming. I love this service and I have learned so much about Jesus Christ and what is truly possible through faith in his power. I live my faith by sharing it.

Do you really believe there is a prophet like Moses alive today?

Griffin

What is the priesthood?

Griffin
The priesthood is the power and authority to act in Christ's name for the salvation of His people. It has been in place since the foundation of the world whenever Christ's true church has been on the earth. The prophet holds the priesthood. Through Christ's mercy it has been restored in these days. John the baptist himself visited Joseph Smith and Oliver Cowdery and restored the lesser priesthood or the Aaronic priesthood. Three of Christ's original apostles; Peter, James, and John; restored the higher, or Melchizadek priesthood. Through the priesthood worthy male members have the unique oppurtunity of blessing God's children through sacred ordinances such as baptism. The priesthood also carries the authority to give blessings of healing and of comfort in the name of Jesus Christ. Show more Show less
