Hi I'm Christopher

I grew up in Idaho farming potatoes. I am a husband and father, health and wellness advocate, and business owner. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a young father to three wonderful young children. I am married to my beautiful wife of eleven years. We have lived all over the United States and have been blessed to travel with my occupation. I own two businesses. I have been fortunate to do what I love professionally. I love exercise and nutrition and am a wellness advocate. I love reading and photography, enjoy running, lifting weights, and playing musical instruments. I attended BYU-Idaho and graduated in Communications. I also earned two masters degrees at Utah State University; a Masters of Human Resource Management (MSHR) and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA.) We now reside in sunny California.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up on a potato farm and learned of the beauty of the earth as a young child. While growing up, I learned about my Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and their plan of happiness for me. My faith in the gospel of Jesus Christ continues to grow and strengthen me as an individual. The gospel is my rock and foundation that I strive to build my life upon in a changing world of uncertainty. I have a strong faith and knowledge of our Savior, Jesus Christ and know that He lives and died for all. Through study of The Holy Bible, The Book of Mormon and much prayer and fasting, the Holy Ghost has taught me that this is Christ's true church upon the earth. Christ's teachings have been restored through the Prophet Joseph Smith along with the priesthood authority to perform the saving ordinances of salvation. I am happy and feel peace when I attend church. My family can be together forever through the blessings of the temple. This is why I'm a Mormon!

How I live my faith

I strive to live my faith by being a good example to those around me and sharing the message of Christ's restored gospel as often as I can. I have served a full-time mission for 2 years to Sacramento, California where I learned the Hmong language and culture... It was the BEST 2 years of growth and experience I've had! I have been a nursery leader, Scout Advancement leader, teacher for young men, and Ward Mission Leader in the past. I am a home teacher and Elder's quorum instructor currently and love visiting my neighbors and sharing my testimony of Jesus Christ and His restored gospel. I also love going to the temple and go at least once per week to serve there and feel the spirit of our Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ.

What are Mormon Temples used for?

Temples are a most sacred house of the Lord. They are built as a light to the world and each of us have the privilege to learn more about our Heavenly Father's plan for us. As children of a loving Heavenly Father we can obtain knowledge about where we came from, learn why we are here on earth, and to gain an understanding of where we are going after this life.  Show more Show less
