Hi I'm Steven Todd

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in Utah and served a mission in Eastern Canada.

About Me

I have a wonderful family with a beautiful wife and 4 children. We like to spend time together playing and enjoying the outdoors.

Why I am a Mormon

Although raised as a Mormon, it is not because of tradition that I am one today. I am a Mormon because of the peace, direction, and truth that is brings to my life. It is holds all the answers in how to have a joyful life and keep your family together forever. It teaches me how to repent and become a better person despite my shortcomings.

How I live my faith

I have served in various callings within the church and currently teach the 12 year old kids in Sunday school. I enjoy teaching the youth the gospel and seeing their eyes light up with understanding.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Steven Todd
Through study and prayer. Just as at the time of Christ, those that believed were those that had knowledge, pondered it, prayed, and felt in their mind and heart of the truthfulness. Today it is no different. With sincere study of the gospel, pondering its message, comparing it with what you already believe and know to be true, than praying the Holy Ghost can confirm the truth to you. It doesn't always come during or immediately after the prayer, but is often times reveled later in a simple moment when you least expect. It should also be noted that the Lord will answer those prayers when he knows you will act on the knowledge. Show more Show less

Why do some call Mormonism a cult?

Steven Todd
I think this is do to mis-understanding. Those that have come to know the doctrines of the church or associate with Mormons come to understand that we may be different in some ways, such as not drinking alcohol, etc., but that we are in many ways similar. Show more Show less

What is the difference between attending a Mormon Church and a Mormon Temple?

Steven Todd
All are invited to attend and participate in the church worship services. The Temple is different, in that all are invited, but only those that have committed to live the gospel and are worthy to enter can attend. Much like the Temples of the Old Testament, certain qualifications must be met before being admitted. The good news is that everyone CAN attend if they are willing to live the standards the Lord has established. Show more Show less
