Hi I'm Tim

I am from Oregon, I have been a Mormon my whole life.

About Me

I like to play trumpet and guitar. I like to watch movies, comedies are my favorite. I listen to rock music, the Foo Fighters are my favorite band right now. Another hobby I have is astronomy. I think the universe is fascinating and studying it helps me appreciate more the creations that God has given us. I served a mission for the church in San Antonio and learned Spanish there. I have been home for about 2 and a half years.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have read The Book of Mormon and have prayed to know the truth of it. When I prayed, I felt the spirit testify to me that it is true. As I have lived the teachings of the church I have felt the love of Christ in my life and I have found true happiness. Living the standards of the gospel have brought me closer to God and I feel his love in my life every day. I know that God lives and that Jesus Christ is His son. I know that Jesus lived and died for us so that we can repent and receive forgiveness of our sins and be able to live with God again.

How I live my faith

I attend church every Sunday and I study the scriptures daily. I pray often and I try to follow the example of Jesus Christ in everything I do.

In whom should we have faith?

Tim
We should have faith in God and Jesus Christ. God is our father and He loves us. He wants the best for us. As we have faith in Him he will bless us. Jesus Christ is His son. He is our Savior and Redeemer. He has suffered everything that we will ever suffer. He knows how to help us and comfort us. As we exercise faith in our Heavenly Father and His son Jesus Christ, they will help us overcome any challenges that come our way. We need to always pray to the Father with faith. As we do so, He will hear and answer our prayers. Show more Show less
