Hi I'm Eric Cooper
I'm a Texan and I'm a Mormon.
I am prvilaged to be a Husband to an incredible wife and Father to five amazing kids. I humbly serve the community as the CEO of our local Food Bank. I work to feed 58,000 people each week that struggle with hunger and food insecurity. I am fortunate to work with a lot of Volunteers and I believe we are all blessed as we serve others. I am reminded everyday that it is through small acts of kindness that big miracles occur.
I'm a Mormon because of the happiness I recieve from living the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I have felt complete joy from living my life in accordance with the commandments and teachings of our Savior. When I struggle and make mistakes, I am given hope knowing I can have faith in Jesus Christ and repent. I find peace in knowing I am a child of God and that He loves me. I am comforted in the thought, that God is mindful of all of us as we encounter trials and tribulation. I marvel at seeing the miracles of His hand in the World. I express my gratitude for this knowledge and I share my witness that He lives!
I believe that my Faith or Religion is a way of life. It is integrated in how I work, play, at home, or in church. Being a Mormon to me is not just a Sunday activity. It is about living my life in harmony with with the principles Jesus taught. I strive to be honest in my dealings, integral in my actions and deeds. I work hard to serve and help others. I truly believe that when we are in the service of others, we are only in the service of our God.
