Fatherhood means service and sacrifice

Parenting, particularly fatherhood, requires an added amount of service and sacrifice to raise children in a loving, compassionate, safe home.

Fatherhood takes service in helping to raise children, attend to work and household responsibilities, and be present in everyday needs and activities.

Fatherhood also takes sacrifice in being selfless with your time and resources to provide for the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of your family.

James E. Faust has said, “Noble fatherhood gives us a glimpse of the divine attributes of our Father in Heaven.”

Fathers all over the world have sacrificed and served to build stable, loving homes and families.

Freddy Marin and his wife have made huge sacrifices for their children and family. Learn more about them here, and watch their story below.
