#BecauseHeLives: Celebrating the Life and Love of Jesus Christ This Easter
The central focus of the Easter season is our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Mormons believe that Jesus Christ is our Savior and Redeemer and the Only Begotten Son of God the Father. We believe that He was born, lived a mortal life, taught and blessed thousands, suffered for our sins in Gethsemane, and died on the cross at Calvary. And, most importantly, we believe that after three days He was resurrected from the dead, and because He rose again—because He lives—we can also be resurrected after we die.
Elder Russell M. Nelson said: “As followers of the Lord Jesus Christ in these, the latter days, we have also been charged with testifying of the realities of the Savior’s Atonement and Resurrection. This Easter season gives each of us a personal opportunity to discover His sacrifice, embrace His teachings, and share His joy.”
Here are a few easy ways you can “share His joy” this Easter.
