101 Scriptures Filled with Thanksgiving

By Mormon.org

During this harvest season, hearts naturally turn to reflections of gratitude. Whether in joy or trial, giving thanks and acknowledging God’s hand in our lives strengthens us for the journey ahead. President Thomas S. Monson counsels, “Do we remember to give thanks for the blessings we receive? Sincerely giving thanks not only helps us recognize our blessings, but it also unlocks the doors of heaven and helps us feel God’s love” (“The Divine Gift of Gratitude,” Ensign or Liahona, October 2010).

The scriptures remind us daily to reach out in thanksgiving toward God. Through 101 scriptures filled with thanksgiving, see how the scriptures teach of the Savior’s perfect example of gratitude, provide examples of disciples of Christ giving thanks and praising God in a variety of circumstances, echo the thankful message in the Psalms, and provide counsel for us to live in gratitude daily.
