Hi I'm Andres
I'm a Venezuelan, I'm a banker...and I am a Mormon
I am from warm climate, and I love outdoors activities, i am a big fan of camping in a lake, beach or mountain area. I love enjoying a family weekend swiming, skiing, boating or just chilling with them these moments are the happiest moments for me. I have a very special family, my sweet wife of 20 years, she is a very special woman together we have a beautiful 15 years old daughter and an 17 years old athlete boy. They are my happines and joy. My membership in this church has helped me to have a better understanding of what a father, a husband, a brother and a citizen should be. It has also helped me to understand that the most important things I could do are inside the walls of my home. I have learned that my main job is to take care and serve my family. I would not change them for anything in this world.
I grew up been a member of this church, and as I matured I was able to understand and know why I am a Mormon. I concluded that I am a Mormon because I believe that the family relationshiops are eternal, that no even the death can brake them. I am a Mormon because I believe that together as a family we can protect each other against the dangers of this world, we can help each other to stay morally clean, and to help us to remember that we are an eternal family. I am a Mormon because I understand that I am a son of a God tha loves me and I love him of a God that it is real, tangible and accesible to all of us. I am a Mormon because I understand the need of a Savior, of a Redemer, to help us to go back to our God that created us. I am a Mormon because I know of the important and critical roll of the woman on the creation and implementation of that plan of happiness. But more importantly I am a Mormon because, I know that one day, with all my loved ones, we will live together for ever.
I do my best to be a good person and to be honest in all my actions. I currently hold a church position where I serve aproximately 3500 people, i dedicate around 12-15 hrs per week to serve aned help them. I am directly responsible for the youth ages 12-18, and try to help them to enroll in the scouting program, to be good citizens, good student, good sons and daughters. I try to inspire them to be moraly clean, and to obey the commandments and local laws. We are always looking for opportunities to provide meaningful service to people around our neighborhood. With my son, every month we visit 3 to 4 families assigned to us to care for the them and make sure that al their needs are meet. We go int their homes to share a message of hope, love and faith. This is a great opportunity to seve others and love our neighbors regardless or their age, sex, origen or nationality.
